The Chief of Staff reports directly to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of BridgeBio. The primary objective of this role is to increase the leverage of the CCO, facilitate interactions and information flow across the commercial executive leadership team, prepare materials for company leadership and Board of Directors, take on key cross-functional strategic initiatives, and serve as a strategic thought partner to the CCO. This role is inherently flexible, taking a central role in projects that are of top priority for BridgeBio’s commercial launch of Attruby and upcoming three commercial launches. The person in this role will be responsible for organizing, interpreting, and presenting a large volume of data. They will help support leveraging this data to inform key strategic decisions. The person will be responsible for helping address emergency situations and put out fires. They will also support a rapidly growing team and help put in place processes that help commercial operate seamlessly with the rest of the organization. The person in this role will have significant impact on BridgeBio and our ability to serve patients at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure cross-functional alignment and harmonization of strategy with operational activities across commercial and other functions
  • Organize and interpret incoming data and discuss findings of relevant strategic analyses with senior leadership and relevant external stakeholders
  • Help define / lead strategic initiatives
  • Conduct regular reviews of case studies and literature on best practices
  • Manage key meetings with Board members and other senior leaders across BridgeBio
  • Question assumptions and challenge how things are done across BridgeBio in the service of the patient mission
  • Respond to urgent issues and help coordinate cross-functional efforts
  • Perform other strategic analyses and projects as needed
  • Manage the operating rhythm of the Office of the CCO
  • Ensure that participants are prepared prior to meetings with CCO
  • True expert in use of ChatGbT/Claude, excel, and power point
  • Ability to synthesize complex topics into succinct slide presentations
