About The Position

SentiLink is hiring a Chief of Staff to the CTO to drive execution, operational rigor, and accountability across the Engineering and Data Science organizations. You will embed deeply in the day-to-day mechanics of the technology team, ensuring priorities are clear, projects ship on time, and the organization scales with discipline. You will act as an extension of the CTO — translating strategy into execution, tracking progress relentlessly, and removing bottlenecks before they slow the team down. If you enjoy building systems, driving follow-through, and turning ambiguity into structured action, this role is for you.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years in Engineering, Technical Program Management, Product, or similar execution-heavy roles.
  • Experience in high-growth startup environments.
  • Strong technical fluency — able to engage deeply with engineers and data scientists.
  • Proven track record of driving cross-functional initiatives from idea to execution.
  • High ownership and bias for action.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building or scaling engineering operating processes.
  • Familiarity with SaaS and/or financial services products.
  • Background in consulting or strategy is a plus
  • Located in the San Francisco Bay Area with a preference for in-office work

Responsibilities

  • Translate the CTO’s priorities into clear, trackable initiatives.
  • Ensure key projects across Data Science and Engineering are progressing on time and aligned with company objectives.
  • Establish and manage operational cadences, including leadership meetings, roadmap reviews, KPI tracking, board and executive presentations.
  • Identify gaps, bottlenecks, and risks early — and proactively drive resolution.
  • Improve processes to increase organizational clarity, accountability, and velocity.
  • Ensure Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Business teams are aligned on priorities and tradeoffs.
  • Drive alignment on technical priorities, hiring plans, and strategic initiatives.
  • Track cross-functional dependencies and prevent misalignment.
  • Ensure effective follow-up and accountability from cross-functional meetings.
  • Synthesize inputs from across teams to support technical and strategic decision-making.
  • Develop data-driven insights to inform roadmap, investment, and resource allocation decisions.
  • Prepare high-quality executive materials for leadership discussions and board meetings.
  • Support long-term planning for the technology organization, including org design and capacity planning.

  • Employer paid group health insurance for you and your dependents
  • 401(k) plan with employer match (or equivalent for non US-based roles)
  • Flexible paid time off
