Chief of Staff, Special Projects

OmneaPari, NY
Hybrid

About The Position

Omnea is reinventing enterprise procurement with an AI-native platform that streamlines the process from request to approval and renewal. The company has raised $75M from prominent venture capital firms and has experienced significant ARR growth, serving global enterprises. Omnea is recognized as a fast-growing startup and a top place to work. The team has a strong track record in scaling tech companies. This role will partner with the CEO on special projects, acting as a commercial and executional force for initiatives that lack a clear owner, including acquisitions, fundraises, executive hiring, PR, and new team/business line development. It's a cross-functional role at the intersection of product, go-to-market (GTM), and broader business building, requiring a builder and doer who thrives in ambiguity and can drive results quickly. The role offers a unique opportunity to gain insight into scaling a category-defining AI business from $10M to $100M+ ARR, working directly with the CEO and leadership team. It is ideal for individuals aspiring to be future founders, GMs, COOs, or commercial leaders, aiming to compress years of experience into a shorter timeframe. The focus is on commercial judgment and operational execution rather than process. Candidates should have experience in startup/scale-up environments and the ability to bring order without hindering speed. Success in this role will significantly impact the company's growth, hiring, and market presence.

Requirements

  • 4-10 years of experience in high-growth companies, ideally B2B SaaS.
  • Roles spanning BizOps, BD/revenue generation, or GM-style leadership.

  • Ability to translate strategy into action with minimal direction.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and motivation to help build a business.
  • Enjoyment of hard work and solving challenging problems.
  • Dedication and willingness to make sacrifices for career growth.
  • Track record of exceptional performance in academia, work, or other areas.
  • Evidence of perseverance through tough environments.
  • Experience thriving in 0→1 or growth-stage companies, contributing to playbook development and execution.
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to run projects end-to-end (hiring execs, working deals, launching GTM initiatives).
  • High standard for execution.
  • Crisp and purposeful communication skills.
  • Ability to craft CEO-grade narratives and represent the company with confidence and discretion.
  • Trustworthy, pragmatic, and able to move quickly.
  • Thrive in ambiguity, act with judgment and taste.
  • Not a pure consultant or VC without operating experience.
  • Does not require heavy structure or prefer process over progress.
  • Derives energy from being in the weeds and making an impact, often through unglamorous work.

  • Learn fast and earn trust by working directly with the CEO and leadership team, gaining exposure to various business functions.
  • Explore potential acquisitions and launch new GTM motions.
  • Unblock critical customer needs.
  • Identify and pursue enterprise lighthouse customer opportunities.
  • Develop and manage ecosystem partnerships.
  • Craft CEO-grade narratives, including board decks, competitive positioning, and external communications.
