About The Position

The Office of the CEO at Turing operates at the center of the company's highest-priority strategic initiatives, partnering across executive leadership and representing the company externally with investors, frontier AI labs, enterprise customers, board members, strategic partners, and industry leaders. This team's purpose is to create leverage for the CEO where the company's most important external decisions are made. This role is designed to be an external force multiplier for the CEO, focusing on high-stakes external conversations and ensuring they translate into impactful outcomes. It is described as an intense tour of duty that can lead to executive leadership at Turing or a founder role. The role is crucial for navigating a consequential period in Turing's growth, directly influencing the CEO's ability to scale relationships and advance the company's long-term growth strategy. The individual will be a trusted strategic partner to the CEO on high-priority external initiatives, assisting with capital formation, managing external relationships, elevating executive materials, and driving company-defining initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a top-tier university with a strong record of academic excellence.
  • 2+ years at a top-tier Silicon Valley venture firm—Associate or Senior Associate.
  • Exceptional written communication skills with experience producing investment memos, board materials, executive communications, or strategic presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-priority workstreams with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to build trust across senior stakeholders.
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively, up to 75%, and operate with flexibility around business-critical events and international schedules.
  • A venture investor ready to build, typically at the Associate or Senior Associate level at a top-tier Silicon Valley venture capital or growth equity firm.
  • Ability to distill a complex business into a narrative that investors remember, partners repeat, and executives can confidently take into the room.
  • Organized to the point of obsession, ensuring nothing is dropped and keeping the CEO organized.
  • A field operator who energizes from dinners, conferences, board meetings, customer visits, demo days, and international travel.
  • A person of exceptional judgment, knowing when speed, precision, and trust matter.
  • Discreet by default, able to handle sensitive information.
  • Prior experience in top-tier management consulting or investment banking is often seen in exceptional candidates.

  • Background that combines venture capital with prior experience in management consulting or investment banking.
  • 2–5 years at a top-tier Silicon Valley venture firm—Associate or Senior Associate.
  • Existing relationships within the Silicon Valley venture, growth equity, or frontier AI ecosystem.
  • Experience supporting fundraising, capital formation, M&A, or strategic partnerships.
  • Experience working directly with CEOs or executive leadership teams.
  • Familiarity with enterprise software, AI infrastructure, or frontier AI markets.
  • Experience preparing executives for board meetings, investor meetings, or strategic negotiations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Turing's Capital Agenda, managing the CEO-side process for investor target lists, sequencing, materials, data room coordination, diligence management, and follow-through.
  • Deliver decks and memos for key external meetings with investors, lab leadership, the board, press, and strategic partners.
  • Drive Strategic Partnerships by preparing, sequencing, and ensuring follow-through on large commercial relationships with frontier labs.
  • Build Executive Relationship Intelligence by creating and operating systems to keep the CEO's highest-value relationships informed, intentional, and active, including preparing briefing documents and ensuring timely follow-ups.
  • Execute High-Impact Special Projects, leading confidential strategic initiatives requiring judgment, discretion, and exceptional execution, delivering recommendations and complete staff work.
