About The Position

West Pines Behavioral Hospital, a newly built, state-of-the-art behavioral health facility located in Westminster, CO, is seeking an experienced, mission-driven nursing leader to join their executive leadership team as Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). This role will lead nursing strategy and operational excellence for a facility that delivers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care across all ages, specializing in mental health and addiction treatment. The CNO will be a key member of the hospital's executive leadership team, responsible for mentoring clinical leaders, ensuring regulatory compliance, overseeing budgets and staffing, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and influencing executive decisions and long-term planning.

Requirements

Active RN License (CO or eligible for reciprocity).
Proven Nursing Leadership (CNO, DON, or equivalent).
Behavioral Health Experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting (required).
Strategic & Operational Expertise with strong interpersonal skills.
BSN required.
6+ years RN experience (10+ preferred).
3+ years progressive nursing management.
2+ years behavioral health RN experience in inpatient psychiatry.
