About The Position

The Chief Nursing Officer assumes responsibility for the health of each resident and the coordination of services to provide the appropriate level of care as determined through the assessment process. This role requires a current Registered Nursing license in good standing in the State of Oklahoma, a degree as a registered nurse from an accredited nursing program, and CPR and First Aid training. The position also involves an on-call rotation, the ability to take call after hours and on weekends, and maintaining a chain of command. The Chief Nursing Officer is responsible for maintaining quality assurance and implementing plans for improvement, presenting a professional appearance, and understanding and following through with directions given related to patient care. The role has full access to Protected Health Information of residents and requires the ability to organize and prioritize tasks and projects, accurately completing job responsibilities within specified time constraints to meet resident needs, regulatory standards, and customer satisfaction. Exceptional attendance is a requirement for this role.

Requirements

  • Current Registered Nursing license in good standing in the State of Oklahoma
  • Degreed as a registered nurse from accredited nursing program
  • CPR and First Aid training
  • Ability to take call after hours and on weekends and maintains a chain of command
  • Present a professional appearance
  • Ability to understand and follow through with directions given related to patient care
  • Ability to speak, hear, and read English
  • Ability to discern temperature, texture, size, and shape
  • Registered Nurse
  • 2 year Director of Nursing experience in SNF
