About The Position

One of the country’s largest Ambulatory Surgery Center platform, is seeking a Chief Nursing Officer for Community Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. The ideal candidate for this role will either have Surgical Hospital or other Hospital Leadership experience. The Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) provides executive leadership for all nursing and clinical services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care. This role is responsible for clinical excellence, staffing strategy, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement across the organization. As a key member of the senior leadership team, the CNO partners with physicians, administrators, and the governing board to advance the hospital’s mission, strategic goals, and operational performance. This role offers the opportunity to lead nursing and clinical services with a meaningful level of responsibility and influence. You’ll collaborate closely with executive leadership, physicians, and clinical teams to shape care delivery, strengthen quality and safety practices, and support the professional growth of nursing leaders and staff. Requirements

  • 2+ to 5 years experience
  • Master's Degree
  • Experienced CNO, ACNO or high level surgical services leader
  • For profit and physician owned experience is highly preferred
  • Surgical background
  • Very hands on

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for all nursing and clinical departments
  • Ensure safe, effective, and compliant patient care through evidence-based nursing practice
  • Develop and manage nursing staffing models, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Lead quality, patient safety, and performance improvement initiatives
  • Partner with physicians, executive leadership, and the governing board on strategy and operations
  • Establish and maintain policies, procedures, and standards of nursing practice
  • Oversee talent development, performance management, and employee engagement
  • Integrate current research and best practices into nursing care delivery
  • Represent nursing services in medical staff, executive, and board meetings
