About The Position

The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting a full-time Chief Medical Officer/Physician to provide care at a vibrant community health center (FQHC) in West Burlington, IA! This role offers a work/life balance with a flexible and consistent schedule within clinic hours. The position is full-time, 40 hours/week, with an anticipated 50% administrative time and 50% patient-facing time, seeing an average of 18-20 patients per day. The provider team is fully supportive, including 2 physicians and 3 advanced practice providers. The role is eligible for up to $50,000 in student loan repayment through state and federal programs. The EHR system used is Ochin Epic. Community health centers (FQHCs) are the largest source of comprehensive primary care for underserved communities and populations, offering an integrated care model that includes medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services, allowing patients to access comprehensive, coordinated services often under one roof. Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school and completion of residency program
  • Board certified or board eligible in Family or Internal Medicine
  • Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Iowa
  • 1-3 years of clinical leadership experience

Responsibilities
