About The Position

Meridian Trust is seeking a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead its marketing, branding, and member experience efforts. The CMO will be responsible for developing and executing a dynamic marketing and branding program, shaping the brand's presence, championing user experience, translating strategies into organizational wins, guiding projects from inception to completion, and enhancing brand awareness and service value within the communities served. This role requires a creative and data-informed strategist who can build strong relationships, understand business objectives, manage projects effectively, and lead a team in creating valuable resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field required; master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience leading marketing promotions, campaigns, websites, and media communications that deliver strong ROI and organizational value.
  • Successful background in project management, process improvement, and new product or service implementation.
  • Ability to analyze data, evaluate results, and identify meaningful improvements in service, product development, member experience, or organizational culture.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate employees, coach and develop team members, resolve challenges, and build a positive team environment.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and moving pieces at once.
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully with project teams, staff, vendors, members, and cross-functional partners across departments, branches, and the organization.
  • Experience actively coaching and developing a team while fostering strong business relationships and a passion for quality improvement.
  • Understanding of website design and development, digital marketing best practices, and campaign performance analysis.
