About The Position

Mission Linen Supply is currently looking for an experienced Chief Maintenance Technician. This is a hands-on in-plant position requiring strong technical knowledge in industry equipment, the ability to work with varied mechanical/electrical systems, and strong leadership skills. The Chief Maintenance Technician's responsibilities are but not limited to repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting industrial equipment, such as washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems, and boilers. This position performs preventive maintenance that includes welding, boiler chemical testing and making necessary chemistry adjustments, resolving safety concerns, and preparing maintenance records. This in-plant position requires strong technical knowledge in industry equipment, the ability to work with varied mechanical/electrical systems, and strong leadership skills. We are looking for the knowledge of or willingness to learn Steam Boiler, Electrical, Pneumatic, Schematics, Maintenance, Welding, and Plumbing. Requirements

  • Hands-on, working experience in Preventative Maintenance (PM) programs and scheduling
  • Boiler operation, testing, and maintenance
  • Plumbing industrial systems and repair
  • Wastewater and Treatment systems
  • Welding MIG, TIG, or industrial fabrication welding
  • Hydraulics systems and repair
  • Pneumatics systems and repair
  • Industrial Electrical systems, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), schematics, and control panels
  • Prior experience in a management, supervisory, or team-lead role
  • Strong electrical/mechanical aptitude

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree or certification in a related industrial or technical field
  • Military experience welcomed and valued
  • Willingness to relocate after training to manage your own facility within the first 3 years of the program

Responsibilities
