About The Position

Mission Linen Supply is currently looking for an experienced Chief Maintenance Technician. This hands-on, in-plant role repairs, maintains, installs, and troubleshoots industrial equipment such as washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems, and boilers, and performs preventive maintenance including welding, boiler chemical testing and chemistry adjustments, resolving safety concerns, and preparing maintenance records. This role requires strong technical knowledge of industrial equipment, the ability to work with varied mechanical/electrical systems, and strong leadership skills. Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Preventative Maintenance (PM) programs and scheduling
  • Boiler operation, testing, and maintenance
  • Industrial plumbing systems and repair; wastewater and treatment systems
  • Welding: MIG, TIG, or industrial fabrication
  • Hydraulics and pneumatics systems and repair
  • Industrial electrical systems, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), schematics, and control panels
  • Prior experience in a management, supervisory, or team-lead role (required)
  • Associate's degree or certification in a related industrial or technical field
  • Strong electrical/mechanical aptitude; military experience welcomed and valued

Responsibilities

  • Repair, maintain, install, and troubleshoot industrial equipment such as washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems, and boilers
  • Lead the plant's preventive maintenance program, including welding, boiler chemical testing, and chemistry adjustments
  • Resolve safety concerns and prepare maintenance records
  • Work across steam boiler, electrical, pneumatic, schematics, welding, and plumbing systems
  • Leads the plant's maintenance technicians and directs maintenance work priorities
