About The Position

Wheelhouse Credit Union is seeking a Chief Lending Officer (CLO) to join their leadership team. This executive role is responsible for overseeing all lending operations, including consumer and mortgage lending, and the Collections Department. The CLO will ensure lending programs align with strategic goals, regulatory compliance, and risk management standards, while also focusing on member experience and community presence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in lending.
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of consumer, mortgage, and commercial lending practices and regulations.
• Experience managing collections operations and implementing recovery strategies.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree preferred.
