About The Position

Adventure Credit Union is seeking a strategic leader for the Chief Lending Officer (CLO) role. This position is crucial in shaping the organization's future by developing leaders, strengthening communities, delivering exceptional member experiences, and guiding the credit union's strategic direction. The CLO will influence the organization beyond lending, build high-performing teams, and drive meaningful results. The role involves joining the Executive Leadership Team and contributing to the strategic direction of Consumer Lending, Mortgage Lending, Commercial Lending, and Financial Restoration/Risk Management. The CLO will also collaborate across the organization to ensure an exceptional lending experience from the initial interaction through long-term financial success.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field required.
• Executive leadership experience within financial services.
• A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in a management role.
• Five (5) years in a senior management role.
• Significant experience leading consumer, mortgage, commercial, and financial restoration or collections teams.
• Strong understanding of lending strategy, credit risk, portfolio management, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience leading organizational change and developing high-performing leaders.

• Partnering with the executive responsible for Card Services to shape the credit card portfolio strategy.
• Building trusted relationships with the Board, regulators, community partners, and industry organizations.
