About The Position

Atlas World Group is seeking an accomplished Chief Information Security Officer to lead enterprise security, privacy, technical risk, compliance, and business resiliency programs. The role will establish the vision, policies, processes, and programs needed to manage enterprise technical risk, and lead internal team members and strategic vendor partners. Where applicable, the position also serves as Data Privacy Officer. The CISO will help protect Atlas World Group and its subsidiary companies while enabling them to pursue new opportunities with confidence.

The CISO will advise senior management and the Board of Directors, partner with executives and business leaders, and clearly communicate security priorities, risks, and business value. The role leads incident and breach response; oversees security assessments and vendor risk; and coordinates business continuity, disaster recovery, and organizational recovery efforts.

The position also leads and develops a high-performing team, with responsibility for organizational planning, talent acquisition, mentoring, performance management, succession planning, and quality standards. Travel of up to 10% throughout the United States and Canada may be required. Reasonable accommodations will be considered in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in technology or a related field and at least seven years of relevant experience in information security, privacy, and business resiliency; or an associate’s degree in technology or a related field and at least ten years of relevant experience in these disciplines.
• Demonstrated record of developing and managing enterprise information security, privacy, and business resiliency programs.
• Ability to remain current on emerging security trends and changing data-privacy and personal-information protection requirements.
• Strong leadership across people, processes, and enterprise programs.
• Ability to establish a clear vision and successfully translate it into execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an enterprise strategy encompassing security, privacy, technical risk, compliance, and business resiliency.
• Advise senior management and the Board of Directors on the organization’s security, privacy, and resiliency posture.
• Partner with executives and business leaders to align security and compliance priorities with business objectives.
• Lead incident and breach response, including data-loss management, recovery, and notification activities.
• Oversee security assessments of networks, systems, applications, vendors, and other third parties.
• Build and maintain a vendor-management and technical-risk program, including risk assessments, remediation tracking, contract standards, and compliance reviews.
• Lead business impact assessments, business continuity planning, disaster recovery coordination, and organizational recovery efforts.
• Develop security education and awareness programs covering emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices.
• Monitor evolving privacy and data-protection obligations across applicable U.S., Canadian, and international jurisdictions.
• Communicate security priorities, risks, and business value to executive stakeholders.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team; manage organizational planning, talent acquisition, mentoring, performance management, succession planning, and quality standards.
