Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is a crucial position in shaping technology strategy and leading the implementation and operations of our corporate technology. With the rapidly advancing and evolving innovation including use of AI in healthcare, this role will help the organization to assess, evaluate, and select new technology for the organization to adapt; ensuring improved outcomes and care of our patients, improve our ability to deliver care, and help our staff to be more efficient/effective. The Chief Information Officer is a member of the executive management team and is responsible for providing overall leadership and direction for enterprise Information Services - planning, implementation, operation, and ongoing enhancement of technology that optimizes care delivery, service quality, and business performance assuring the delivery of high-quality care with an emphasis on service excellence, cost effective inpatient and outpatient care, and meeting or exceeding organizational performance expectations. This position also provides input on the enterprise’s strategic initiatives, develops tactical strategies for assigned service groups and ensures compliance with regulatory agencies as well as established hospital standards, practices, and procedures. The CIO is responsible for IT services including digital health, program management, cyber security, technical infrastructure, and support services.
