About The Position

The Oregon Legislature is seeking its next Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead a highly skilled, diverse team of IT and media professionals through transformational changes to sunset legacy systems and move to an integrated, modern technology stack. Serving as the CIO for the Oregon Legislative Assembly is a high-impact leadership role that manages the infrastructure powering democracy for the state of Oregon and ensures day-to-day operational excellence. Technology is not a background support function here; it is the active conveyor belt of lawmaking. The Information Technology and Media Services team faces the challenge of securing confidential, pre-introduction draft bills and sensitive internal communications, all while ensuring that the civic-facing side of the network remains transparent and open to the public.
