About The Position

Lobel Financial is seeking an experienced Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead and oversee the company's internal technology operations, infrastructure, and information systems. This executive role is responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of all IT systems while aligning technology capabilities with business objectives in a regulated financial services environment. The CIO will lead enterprise IT operations, including infrastructure, networks, and core business systems, with a focus on performance, reliability, and uptime across all platforms. This role drives cybersecurity initiatives, risk management, data protection, and regulatory compliance, while establishing and enforcing IT governance, policies, and internal controls. The CIO partners closely with executive leadership to improve operational efficiency, strengthen system capabilities, and support long-term business growth. This position also oversees vendor management, technology partnerships, budgeting, and resource planning, while leading and developing high-performing IT teams across infrastructure, systems, and support functions. The ideal candidate brings a strong balance of technical expertise and business acumen, with the ability to translate complex technology concepts into measurable business impact.

Requirements

  • 10-15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including executive-level responsibility such as CIO, VP of IT, or Director of IT.
  • Expertise in IT infrastructure, enterprise systems, cybersecurity, data governance, and multi-site operations.
  • Experience in vendor management, budgeting, and policy development.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence senior stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in financial services, lending, banking, or another regulated industry is strongly preferred.
