About The Position

The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is a senior executive responsible for the overall leadership, governance, and strategic direction of Information Technology at Longview Capital Corporation. The CIO reports directly to the CEO & Chairman and serves as a member of the senior management team, working closely with executive leadership, management forums, and the Board level IT Steering Committee to ensure that technology enables business strategy, manages material risk, and meets regulatory expectations. The CIO provides executive oversight of the IT Department, including direct leadership of the IT Manager and accountability for technology operations, cybersecurity posture, critical banking systems, vendor relationships, and enterprise IT governance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Significant progressive experience in IT leadership, including executive or senior management accountability.
Demonstrated experience with IT governance, regulatory environments, cybersecurity oversight, and critical systems management.
Experience leading enterprise-wide technology initiatives.
Experience working with executive leadership and Boards.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Strong strategic planning and project management skills.
Technical knowledge of networks and IT systems.
Understanding of audit and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead the development, execution, and ongoing governance of a Board level IT Strategic Plan, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives, risk posture, regulatory expectations, and innovation opportunities.
Establish and maintain formal IT governance structures, including management level governance forums and the Board level IT Steering Committee, with defined charters, cadence, and decision rights.
Integrate strategic technology planning into executive and Board governance forums, supporting informed prioritization, investment decisions, and risk acceptance.
Advise executive leadership on technology implications related to growth, acquisitions, consolidation activities, and operational resilience.
Provide executive oversight of day to day IT operations, ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient delivery of technology services across all Longview Capital entities and locations.
Ensure minimum service management controls are in place, including ticket lifecycle discipline, change management standards, and service performance visibility.
Oversee enterprise infrastructure, applications, networks, and end user computing environments at a governance and accountability level.
Establish expectations for virtual and onsite IT presence and coverage consistent with Longview Capital’s operational model and site requirements.
Ensure IT policies, standards, and procedures are maintained in a controlled repository with defined ownership, approval authority, and review cadence.
Provide executive oversight of cybersecurity governance and operations, including risk assessments, framework adoption, remediation tracking, Board level cyber risk reporting.
In conjunction with Internal Audit and the Chief Information Security Officer, ensure adequate controls and policies are in place to meet regulatory and risk requirements
Oversee audit and examination readiness, including issue tracking, evidence retention, and closure validation for IT related findings.
Provide executive accountability for governance, ownership, and resilience of critical banking systems, including core processing platforms and payment infrastructure.
Ensure disaster recovery and business continuity strategies are defined, tested, documented, and reported in an evidence based manner.
Provide leadership in the execution of multi year core banking and modernization strategies, including defined decision points, stage gates, and Board oversight.
Maintain examiner ready documentation for critical systems, including ownership, architecture, recovery objectives, and testing evidence.
Provide executive leadership and direction to the direct reports and broader IT staff, including staffing strategy, coverage models, and capability development.
Approve and oversee IT staffing plans, cross training initiatives, and reduction of single points of failure.
Oversee strategic vendor management, including performance monitoring, escalation, and alignment with business and risk objectives.
Ensure IT resources are aligned with approved priorities, capacity constraints, and execution feasibility.
Attend executive, management, and Board meetings as required.
Promote and represent Longview Capital in a professional and positive manner while on duty and outside the workplace.
Comply with all company policies, regulatory requirements, and training obligations.
Perform other duties as assigned consistent with the scope of an executive leadership role.
