About The Position

The Chief Information Officer serves as the administrative head for the WCJC Office of Information Technology. This position is responsible for the management and implementation of all IT systems and software, while ensuring superior customer service and support for faculty, staff, and students. The Chief Information Officer is tasked with making decisions related to the plans, policies, and processes for all functional units within the IT department. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related area
  • Eight years of professional experience in Information Technology
  • A minimum of five years’ experience in IT administration within an institution of higher education
  • Demonstrated effective leadership experience in the area of IT, preferably within an educational environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and written/oral communication skills
  • Criminal background check required
  • Copy of college transcript(s) showing completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related area
  • Cover Letter outlining relevant work experience
  • Resume
