Monroe Community College seeks an experienced senior level administrator to serve as Chief Information Officer and Associate Vice President, Technology Services. The successful candidate will have a strong information technology and administrative background and demonstrated ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic and complex community college that values integrity, excellence, empowerment, inclusiveness, collaboration and stewardship. The new CIO will be committed to advancing the success of MCC’s diverse student population and the Rochester community and demonstrate the skills, knowledge and ability to lead the financial and administrative areas of the College into the future. Monroe Community College (MCC) is entering its sixth decade as a premier two-year college within the State University of New York (SUNY) system. Under her leadership, MCC has embarked on "Vision2027," a five-year strategic plan to enhance the College's relevance and address evolving challenges. The Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Associate Vice President, Technology Services reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Vice President, Administrative Services. With authority delegated by the CFO and Vice President, the CIO and Associate Vice President directs the College’s technology planning, implementation, and maintenance to support the overall mission, strategic plan, and goals. The next Chief Information Officer and Associate Vice President will have the chance to lead departmental realignment and structure to maximize efficiency, productivity, and customer service at the College. The CIO will reaffirm the roles, responsibilities, and scope of the Technology Services division. They will have the opportunity to establish their leadership team and implement an updated organizational structure.
