The Chief Growth Officer serves as a key member of the executive leadership team and is accountable for the successful execution of strategic growth initiatives, broadband expansion programs, telecommunications infrastructure deployment, and operational scalability. This leader will oversee critical infrastructure projects while building strong relationships with communities, municipalities, contractors, and strategic partners to support long-term organizational success. The ideal candidate possesses strong business acumen, executive communication skills, operational discipline, and the ability to anticipate challenges, develop contingency strategies, and drive complex projects to successful completion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience within telecommunications, broadband, fiber infrastructure, or related industries.
  • 7+ years of executive leadership experience overseeing large-scale telecommunications operations, infrastructure deployment, or enterprise program management.
  • Demonstrated success leading FTTH (Fiber-to-the-Home), broadband expansion, fiber construction, or telecommunications growth initiatives.
  • Experience managing large-scale capital projects and enterprise-wide operational transformation efforts.
  • Strong understanding of telecommunications operations, engineering coordination, network deployment, and construction management.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional teams in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments.
  • Exceptional executive presence and ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership teams and Boards of Directors.
  • Strong strategic planning, organizational leadership, and operational execution capabilities.
  • Ability to assess complex projects from both tactical and strategic perspectives.
  • Proven ability to identify risks, develop contingency plans, and solve complex operational challenges.
  • Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning expertise.
  • Ability to communicate the good, bad, and ugly of project performance with clarity, transparency, and professionalism.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity and drive results in dynamic environments.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, permitting processes, and telecommunications infrastructure deployment best practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field preferred.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent program management certification.
  • Experience working with municipal agencies, utility providers, and telecommunications construction partners.
  • Knowledge of broadband grant programs, infrastructure funding initiatives, and telecommunications regulatory environments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide executive leadership and strategic oversight for broadband and fiber infrastructure expansion initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO, Senior Leadership Team, and Board of Directors by delivering clear, concise updates on project performance, growth initiatives, financial results, risks, and operational priorities.
  • Identify and mitigate operational, construction, and deployment risks by proactively developing contingency plans and innovative solutions to maintain project momentum and achieve business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with municipalities, utility partners, community leaders, contractors, and other external stakeholders to support successful infrastructure deployment and organizational growth.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration among Engineering, Construction, Operations, Finance, Procurement, and Logistics teams to align deployment strategies with customer growth goals and capital investment plans.
  • Oversee contractor, vendor, and partner performance to ensure accountability, quality, safety, and consistent execution across all phases of deployment.
  • Direct supply chain, materials, and logistics planning to ensure resource availability, operational readiness, and uninterrupted construction schedules.
  • Negotiate strategic partnerships, service agreements, and vendor contracts that support market expansion, operational excellence, and long-term business growth.
  • Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement while driving scalable operational processes and sustainable organizational growth.
