Hubble Network was founded with the intention of delivering on the promise of what Internet-of-Things (IoT) was supposed to be. We're building a global Bluetooth® network dedicated to machine-to-machine connectivity. We differentiate ourselves as the first modem-less and gateway-less, direct-to-satellite network from off-the-shelf Bluetooth® Low Energy chips. Hubble is ideal for applications in logistics, AgTech, and maritime where economies of scale for volume consumer and enterprise asset tracking is a priority. Our goal is to be the first billion-endpoint-connected network in the world. Hubble is an early-stage, venture-backed startup supported by some of the best investors in the world. In their previous lives, the founding team has been successful in raising $100s of millions in venture funding, developing the Amazon Sidewalk network, launching billions of dollars of space assets, and leading their teams to successful exits, both through acquisition and IPO. We are now looking to bring on talented team members who are the best at what they do to help us make Hubble a reality for the world. This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco, CA About the Role We are looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who wants to be a builder. The CFO will strengthen the financial infrastructure behind Hubble Network and help leadership evaluate the strategic paths available to a capital-efficient private company, including continued independent growth, future private investment, strategic transactions, and eventual public-company readiness. This is a hands-on executive role for a finance leader who can operate at both the strategic and operational levels. You will work directly with the COO and leadership team to build the systems, reporting, controls, planning discipline, and capital strategy that Hubble Network needs as it scales. You will own finance, accounting, and FP&A, improve decision quality across the company, and help prepare Hubble Network for the opportunities available to a profitable private technology company. The current finance function is lean. A small team is already in place, and the CFO will be expected to lead, mentor, and level up that team while also building better systems and processes. Some processes need to be formalized. Some systems need to be established or upgraded. Some reporting needs to become more sophisticated and automated. We want someone who sees that as an opportunity. The right person will bring structure, judgment, and rigor without adding bureaucracy.
