About The Position
A growing multi-state manufacturing and service organization is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead and scale its finance function. This role requires a hands-on, strategic leader who can bring structure, ownership, and forward-thinking financial leadership. The ideal candidate will have strong inventory and manufacturing finance experience, proven ability to build systems and processes, and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset in a complex, multi-entity environment.
Requirements
- 10+ years of senior finance leadership experience preferred
- Background in manufacturing and/or service-based companies
- Strong expertise in inventory management and cost accounting
- Experience operating across multiple states
- Proven ability to build and improve financial systems and processes
- Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability
- Experience managing and developing finance teams

- Manufacturing and/or inventory-heavy finance experience
- Strong systems and process-building background
- Experience in a multi-state business environment

Responsibilities
- Lead the overall financial strategy and planning of the company
- Partner with executive leadership on growth initiatives and decision-making
- Provide forward-looking insights to support scaling operations
- Oversee accounting, FP&A, AR, AP, and revenue cycle functions
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial reporting
- Manage and optimize multi-state financial operations
- Implement and upgrade financial systems and reporting tools
- Build scalable processes to support continued growth
- Improve visibility into inventory, margins, and operational performance
- Lead and develop the existing finance team
- Drive accountability and a full ownership mindset across the department
- Oversee both onshore and offshore team members
