About The Position

We are seeking an experienced, strategic Chief Financial Officer to lead the financial operations of a growing MedTech organization with approximately $54M in annual revenue. This executive will oversee all finance and accounting functions, provide strategic guidance to senior leadership, and ensure strong financial controls, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency. The CFO will manage a lean, high-performing finance team and serve as a key business partner to both domestic leadership and international headquarters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field required.
  • 8–12+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including 3–5+ years in senior leadership roles.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to executive and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Strong proficiency with ERP systems, financial platforms, and advanced Excel skills.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA and/or CPA strongly preferred.
  • Experience leading finance operations in a healthcare, MedTech, manufacturing, or regulated industry environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy in alignment with long-term business objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and leadership team on financial performance, growth opportunities, and risk management.
  • Lead financial modeling, scenario planning, and strategic business analysis to support key initiatives and investment decisions.
  • Provide recommendations to improve profitability, scalability, and operational performance.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and multi-year financial planning cycles.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
  • Present financial performance, trends, and recommendations to executive leadership and the Board.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and provide variance analysis with actionable insights.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts in accordance with IFRS / US GAAP standards.
  • Oversee sales tax filings across all applicable states and corporate income tax compliance in partnership with external advisors.
  • Oversee all accounting operations, including AP, AR, payroll, general ledger, and month-end/year-end close.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, regulatory standards, and internal policies.
  • Manage annual audits, tax filings, and external financial reviews.
  • Implement and strengthen internal controls, financial governance, and accounting policies.
  • Manage cash flow, liquidity planning, and working capital optimization.
  • Oversee treasury operations, banking relationships, and financial risk mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor credit exposure, investments, and capital allocation decisions.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals across accounting and operations.
  • Establish goals, performance expectations, and development plans for the finance team.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, accuracy, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with commercial, operations, and executive teams to support decision-making and growth strategies.
  • Evaluate financial implications of pricing, contracts, vendor agreements, and capital expenditures.
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and systems enhancements to improve efficiency and data integrity.
