About The Position

The Easton Area School District is seeking a progressive and methodical Chief Financial Officer. This executive cabinet level position reports directly to the Superintendent. The position is responsible to manage the District finances and business office operations including but not limited to budget development, insurance, debt service, forecasting, financial accounting and reporting, payroll, purchasing, audit oversight, capital financing and investments. The Chief Financial Officer also provides oversight to the food service vendor.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in finance, accounting or business administration
• A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant work experience
• An understanding of fund accounting and generally accepted accounting practices is required
• Act 34 PSP Criminal Record Check
• Act 114 FBI Criminal History Check
• Act 151 Child Abuse Clearance
• Act 24/82 PDE 6004 form

Nice To Haves

• Masters in Business Administration
• Experience in a K-12 setting
• PA Association of School Business Officials Certifications
