CFO and Head of Business Operations
About The Position
A growing multi-entity healthcare services organization is seeking a highly strategic and operational Chief Financial Officer & Head of Business Operations to lead enterprise finance while overseeing the organization's centralized business operations. This role will build and lead a technology-enabled business operations platform supporting multiple business units while positioning it for future growth. The ideal candidate has proven multi-entity CFO experience, strong operational leadership, experience leading centralized business functions or service organizations, and a technology-driven mindset focused on automation and operational excellence.
Requirements
- CPA and/or MBA preferred
- Senior finance leadership experience within a multi-entity, healthcare, or services organization
- Proven operational leadership beyond traditional finance
- Experience leading centralized business functions, shared services, or a services organization with P&L responsibility
- Strong financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, capital allocation, and financial analysis
- Experience leading Finance, HR, Marketing, IT, and Operations
- Strong technology, systems, automation, and AI mindset
- Experience driving process optimization and efficiency
- EOS experience strongly preferred
- Proven CFO experience in a multi-entity organization
- Strong operational leadership experience
- Experience leading centralized business operations or shared services
- Technology and automation expertise
- Experience leading multiple functional departments
- Strategic finance expertise
- Strong leadership and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Serve as CFO while leading centralized business operations.
- Provide leadership across Finance, HR, Marketing, Facilities/Logistics, and IT.
- Partner with executive leadership on strategy and enterprise value.
- Lead long-term financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Oversee portfolio performance, profitability, cash flow, and growth.
- Advise on investments, capital allocation, ROI, and acquisitions.
- Build a centralized business operations platform delivering high-quality, cost-effective services.
- Establish scalable systems, controls, service standards, and KPIs.
- Treat internal departments as customers through SLAs and feedback.
- Lead systems modernization, workflow automation, AI initiatives, and continuous improvement.
- Leverage technology to improve scalability and efficiency.
- Partner with business leaders to identify growth opportunities and build a scalable operating model.
