The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for overseeing all organizational operations and strategic initiatives. This includes direct supervision of key leadership roles such as the Director of Programs, Home and Community Services, AWC Program, Staff Development Coordinator, Nurse, Clinical Supervisor, and Behavior Support Professional. The CEO ensures the adequate safety and protection of individuals served, provides oversight and support for large community-based residential programs, and assures waiver compliance with regulations. Key responsibilities also include overseeing recruitment, hiring, training, and evaluating supervisory employees, monitoring budget status, authorizing expenditures, and developing and implementing new programs and services. The role demands the development of programs and opportunities for effective working relationships with the public to promote community acceptance and support for programs and individuals. Maintaining effective working relationships with county, regional, and state officials, and ensuring compliance with all agency policies and procedures are critical. The CEO establishes and maintains positive relationships with families, AE, SCO, DDTT, and all external parties, while providing support and problem-solving techniques to the Director of Programs. This position establishes credibility throughout the organization and with the Board as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges. The CEO provides leadership and management to ensure the mission and core values of the company are put into practice, driving the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow, and business goals. They spearhead the development, communication, and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes, collaborating with the Executive Management Team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel to accommodate growth objectives. The CEO motivates and leads a high-performance management team, attracting, recruiting, and retaining necessary executive team members, and fostering a success-oriented, accountable environment. This role requires maintaining current certification as an investor for incident investigation.
