About The Position

Our client, a private equity-backed industrial services company in the Nashville metro area, is seeking a visionary and results-driven Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organization through its next phase of growth and transformation. With a strong market position and aggressive expansion plans, the company requires a leader who can drive operational excellence, scale the business, and maximize value creation in a PE-backed environment. The CEO will be responsible for setting the strategic direction, optimizing financial and operational performance, and leading the company toward sustainable growth and profitability. This role requires a high-caliber executive with experience navigating private equity-backed environments, executing M&A strategies, and driving EBITDA improvement in industrial services or related sectors.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience
  • Prior CEO, President, or COO experience in a private equity-backed industrial services, infrastructure, or manufacturing company preferred.
  • Proven success in scaling operations, leading turnarounds, and executing strategic growth initiatives in a fast-paced, asset-heavy business.
  • Deep expertise in M&A, integration, and value creation in PE-backed environments.
  • Strong financial acumen, with a track record of driving EBITDA expansion and maximizing shareholder value.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and change management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with investors, employees, and customers.
  • Experience managing capital-intensive operations, pricing strategies, and operational efficiencies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a growth-oriented business strategy aligned with private equity goals, ensuring long-term scalability and profitability.
  • Enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, and implement best practices to drive top-line growth and bottom-line improvement.
  • Lead acquisition strategy, integration efforts, and market penetration initiatives to accelerate growth.
  • Oversee financial performance, working closely with the CFO and PE sponsors to enhance capital efficiency, optimize working capital, and drive EBITDA growth.
  • Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing leadership team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and operational excellence.
  • Strengthen client relationships, enhance service offerings, and position the company as a market leader in industrial services.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation package
  • Base Salary: $350,000 – $450,000
  • Performance-Based Bonus (50-100% of base salary)
  • Equity Participation (significant upside potential in a PE-backed structure)
