About The Position

ELCCO Inc. is seeking a strategic, high-impact leader to oversee its preconstruction and estimating function. This role is an opportunity to influence how the company pursues work, builds teams, protects margins, and supports long-term company growth. The ideal candidate will combine deep design/build and electrical estimating expertise with leadership, business acumen, and the ability to build scalable systems and processes.

Requirements

• Deep experience in electrical estimating and preconstruction
• Trusted partner with GC & facility clients
• Proven leadership and team development capability
• Strong judgment in pricing, risk, and prioritization
• Ability to build systems — not just produce estimates
• Strong communication and cross-functional leadership skills
• Strategic mindset with strong business acumen

Responsibilities

• Lead ELCCO’s estimating and preconstruction function
• Drive bid strategy, pricing quality, and backlog discipline
• Partner closely with Operations, Project Management, and Business Development
• Develop estimating standards, tools, and scalable processes
• Mentor and develop estimators and preconstruction staff
• Provide leadership insight into market trends, risk, and opportunity selection
• Improve estimating systems, cost databases, and operational alignment
