About The Position

The Chief Engineer supports the environment for the safe delivery of health care services, and helps maintain a safe environment for patients and employees. The Chief Engineer is responsible for overseeing and supervising the safe operation and maintenance of the facility utility systems and equipment assigned to the department. Requirements

  • LME- Licensed Maintenance Electrician certification
  • Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request.
  • Experience using a personal computer in a Windows environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of an approved apprenticeship program or equivalent education/experience.
  • 5 years work experience in central plant operations and maintenance.
  • 5 years Supervisory experience.
