The Chief Engineer Manager will create and conduct the overall maintenance service process for the campus/university. Manage the skilled labor to provide routine maintenance for all assets. Coordinate the tools and equipment needed for all services rendered. Manage all 3rd party vendors performing work on campus for JLL. Conduct routine audits of work performed and of the asset's ability for life cycle judgement. Provide client with deferred maintenance proposals of assets that are close to being out of life or are out of life. Provide training to associates that need assistance to perform. Direct the team to perform services at the quality level of the JLL expectation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 7+ years of progressive experience in commercial building operations and facilities management, with at least 3+ years in a leadership capacity
- Deep technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety systems, and building automation systems (BMS/BAS)
- Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing engineering teams in complex, multi-site environments
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and integrated workplace management systems (IWMS)
