The Chief Communications Officer / Communications Manager position is responsible for writing, editing, and distributing professional communications to internal and external audiences to ensure all Hamilton County Juvenile Court (HJCJ) employees have access to accurate and consistent information. This role involves establishing and managing an internal communication newsletter, identifying messaging that informs and educates about HCJC's services, and reviewing/evaluating current communication strategies. The position also includes identifying grant funding opportunities, communicating with community partners, serving as the media contact and spokesperson, creating opportunities to share messaging, maintaining and updating the HCJC website, providing crisis communication direction, and monitoring national news for relevant topics.
