About The Position

Vibra Healthcare is seeking a Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) to join their team at Vibra Hospital of Boise. Vibra Hospital of Boise is a 40-bed Critical Care Hospital located in Boise, ID, specializing in acute care services for patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. The hospital provides care for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, friendly environment where close patient and family relationships are fostered.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing required.
• Master’s Degree in Health Administration, Nursing or related field required.
• Five (5) years experience in a Nursing Management position supervising the delivery of patient care required.
• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from a Vibra-approved vendor required.
• Valid driver’s license may be required where work is provided in multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Directing and facilitating the activities of nursing and clinical services.
• Assuming an active leadership role in the hospital’s decision-making structure and process.
• Ensuring and facilitating the competence of clinical staff.
• Ensuring appropriate staffing for patient care.
• Overseeing clinical program development.
• Developing hospital-wide systems, policies, and procedures designed to meet patient care needs.
• Having overall responsibility and accountability for the development of staffing plans and departmental budgets.
• Planning for the appropriate utilization of resources.
• Maintaining or improving the work environment.
• Monitoring and improving the quality and appropriateness of care.
• Assuring appropriate staff for patient acuity.
• Working closely with Physicians to address patient care needs and enhance patient care systems.
• Promoting the facility through active involvement in external and internal activities concerning health care services.
