About The Position
North American Partners in Anesthesia is looking for a Chief Anesthesiologist to join UPMC Hanover. UPMC Hanover is accredited by The Joint Commission, is a Certified Primary Stroke Center, has achieved the status of Blue Distinction Center for Maternity Care, and received the Get With the Guidelines Stroke Gold Plus award.
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
- Board Eligible or Board Certified
- Current medical licensure
- ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
- Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
- Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
- Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
- Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership
