About The Position

Direct, plan, develop, and establish policies and objectives of administrative functions in accordance with objectives of organization through identification of cross-departmental functionality and allocation of resources. Head multifunctional support divisions or departments, such as, but not limited to, administration, communications, facilities management, human resources, benefits, finance, purchasing, security, and general office services, etc. Typical Functions: Confer with organization leaders to plan business objectives, develop organizational policies, and coordinate functions. Provide support and assistance to other functions and operating units of the organization. Interprets company policy to employees and enforces company policy and practices. Oversee or support development of human resource management policy and programs that contribute to the acquisition, retention, motivation, and development of company employees capable of meeting current and future organizational needs and objectives. Facilitate provision of a physical working environment that provides a positive, productive climate for operations through maintenance, planning, and general building services. Ensure efficiency of internal management systems through improved organizational structure, continued surveillance, work methods programs, and establishing performance standards. Facilitate provision of physical and electronic equipment and supplies that effectively meet operational requirements with appropriately allocated expenditure. Counsel management on strategic planning and organization design processes, combined with recommendations and insights that contribute to overall plan strategic management and corporate direction. May guide the company's formal strategic planning effort. May provide general legal counsel to management, with a minimum use of external counsel.
