Verist Inc. seeks Chief Actuary in New York, NY to set strategy for the long-term sustainability and profitability of the Managing General Underwriter (MGU).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mathematics, Actuarial Science or related quantitative related field
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: building pricing models for multiple commercial insurance lines including general liability, commercial auto, workers compensation, umbrella and commercial property for the US market.
• Must have attained the Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) designation.
• Membership in the American Academy of Actuaries (AAA).
