About The Position

The Chief Academic Officer (CAO) is responsible for providing leadership and direction for all instructional programs and services within the school district. This includes curriculum development, instructional strategies, assessment, professional development, and ensuring equitable access to high-quality education for all students. The CAO will work collaboratively with district leadership, school administrators, teachers, and community stakeholders to advance the district's academic vision and goals.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in educational leadership roles, with a significant portion in curriculum and instruction.
• Demonstrated success in leading instructional improvement initiatives.
• Strong understanding of curriculum development, assessment, and data analysis.
• Experience in managing budgets and resources.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
• Completion of a thorough background investigation.
• Submission of a cover letter, current resume, three (3) letters of recommendation, and official transcripts.
