About The Position

LOES is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced caregiver to assist an elderly female client with her evening and bedtime routine in the client's home in Columbus, New Jersey. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:30 PM to 11:30 PM, for a total of 20 hours per week, with an immediate start available. Compensation is $19.00–$21.00 per hour.

The caregiver will support the client's personal care, evening meal preparation, medication routine, and preparation for bed while maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. A New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) is preferred.

Requirements

• Previous experience caring for elderly clients.
• Experience with personal care and mobility assistance.
• Patient, attentive, reliable, and compassionate.
• Must be available for the full Monday–Friday schedule.

Nice To Haves

• New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with evening showers, bathing, and personal hygiene.
• Help with dinner and evening meal preparation.
• Provide medication reminders and ensure medications are taken as directed.
• Assist the client with changing into nightwear and preparing for bed.
• Help with safe positioning and comfort in bed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
