About The Position

This position requires an active CHHA. We are seeking compassionate and dependable HHAs and CHHAs to provide non-medical home care services in Barnegat and surrounding Ocean County areas. You’ll support daily living needs while ensuring dignity, safety, and comfort. As an in-home caregiver, you’ll provide one-on-one support that helps clients remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes. You’ll build meaningful relationships and see the impact of your care every single shift. We work around your availability. Whether you’re seeking full-time hours, part-time flexibility, or per-diem shifts, we offer schedules that align with your lifestyle while maintaining consistency for our clients. You’ll receive clear RN-developed care plans and the backing of a responsive team. While you work independently in clients’ homes, help is always just a call away. We invest in our caregivers with continued training, CEUs, mentorship, and pathways into senior caregiver, scheduling, or leadership roles.

Requirements

• Active New Jersey HHA or CHHA certification
• At least 18 years of age
• Reliable transportation preferred
• Ability to pass a background check
• Strong communication and time-management skills

Nice To Haves

• Prior caregiving experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Support mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation
• Prepare meals based on client preferences
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry
• Provide companionship and social engagement
• Give medication reminders (non-clinical)
• Run errands or accompany clients as needed
• Document care per agency guidelines
