About The Position

We are seeking a Chess After School Instructor to lead engaging chess classes for K-5th grade students. Classes are held Monday through Friday between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM, typically in 60-minute blocks. This role involves teaching chess skills and fostering a love for the game in a fun and educational after-school setting.

Requirements

• Proficiency in chess instruction.
• Experience working with children, preferably in an educational or after-school setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a classroom of young students.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Must be able to work Monday - Friday between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM.

Nice To Haves

• Experience teaching chess specifically.
• Knowledge of child development.
• First Aid/CPR certification.

Responsibilities
