About The Position

As a Cherry Picker operator, associates are responsible for picking of automotive glass such as windshields and meeting picking expectations. This role requires operating an order picker and obtaining and maintaining appropriate certifications. The position involves working at heights of up to 30 feet and requires the ability to meet a satisfactory level of Units Per Hour. The operator must be able to work both independently and as a team member, and be available for extended shift hours based on business needs. This is a safety-sensitive position.

Requirements

• 1-year RECENT Cherry Picker experience
• Utilizing basic hand tools
• Excellent attendance
• Proficiency in English language (verbal and written)
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled facility
• Attention to detail
• Ability to lift, carry, push and/or pull objects weighing 35-45 pounds on average and up to 70 pounds on a frequent/daily basis without assistance
• Willingness to operate order picker and obtain and maintain appropriate certifications
• Able to work at heights of up to 30 feet
• Ability to meet a satisfactory level of Units Per Hour
• Able to work both independently and as a team member
• Able to work extended shift hours based on business need

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Working knowledge of departmental safety, quality and operational procedures
• RF/RDT scanners/order menu experience
