About The Position

As a Forklift Operator, you will use a forklift to transport merchandise to, from, and within the warehouse. You will put away, drop down, and rotate full pallets of stock through the warehouse inventory reserve racks. The role supports efficient warehouse operations and the company’s work to supply grocery products to local communities.

The position is full-time on the third shift in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and pays $24.00 per hour. Weekly pay is provided. The work environment may include grocery dry-goods areas at about 50°–90° and refrigerated perishable areas at about 28°–60°.

Requirements

• At least six months of warehouse experience.
• At least two consecutive years of experience operating a Cherry Picker, High-Lo, or lift equipment.
• Strong planning and execution skills.
• Ability to work with and through others to achieve desired results.
• Strong team orientation and collaboration skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with people at all levels in the organization.
• Ability and willingness to follow all safety policies and procedures.

Nice To Haves

• Electric Pallet Jack experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare documents such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route products.
• Record shipping data, including weight, charges, space availability, damages, and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and record keeping.
• Communicate with establishment representatives to resolve problems such as damage and non-conformance to specifications.
• Occasionally lift cases of varying weight, shape, and height safely.
• Transport merchandise to, from, and within the warehouse using a forklift; put away, drop down, and rotate full pallets through warehouse inventory reserve racks.
