Cherry Picker Equipment Operator (Heights Required) Part-Time – No Weekends

About The Position

This role consists of operating manual and powered industrial equipment to support warehouse operations such as receiving, picking, packing, stocking, and shipping products. The primary goal is to move product safely while maximizing productivity within a fast-paced distribution environment. This position requires operating a cherry picker/ order picker (elevated equipment) up to 40 feet while wearing a safety harness. Candidates must be comfortable working at heights. This is not a ground-level picking role.

Requirements

• Experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred
• Ability to operate or learn powered industrial equipment
• Ability to lift 10–55 lbs regularly
• Comfortable standing and walking for 6–10 hours
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer and communication skills
• Must become certified through Sally Beauty’s Lift Truck Training Program
• Candidates must be comfortable working at heights

Responsibilities

• Operate cherry picker and other powered industrial equipment
• Pick, pack, and move product throughout the distribution center
• Load, unload, and stage product for shipping and receiving
• Stock inventory and replenish assigned areas
• Use RF scanners and warehouse systems to track inventory
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Meet productivity and performance standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned
