About The Position
Sequlite Genomics is a growing life sciences company developing a Next-Generation DNA Sequencing (NGS) platform. This Bay Area subsidiary of Fapon Biotech is seeking a full-time Chemistry RA/Scientist to join their R&D team. The role involves working with a multi-disciplinary team to address challenges in chemistry, molecular biology, and engineering.
Requirements
- MS/Ph.D. in chemistry, chemical engineering, or related scientific discipline.
- Expertise in synthetic organic chemistry, surface chemistry, oligonucleotides, and/or bioconjugation.
- Excellent bench skills with an interest and demonstrated ability to perform hands-on synthesis, purification, and characterization experiments.
- Creativity, initiative, and strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability and willingness to communicate and interact effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Nice To Haves
- Someone who keeps current on new scientific knowledge and discoveries in order to identify opportunities in the biotechnology field
- Product development experience
Responsibilities
- Explore new chemistry of surface modification
- Provide day-to-day chemistry support
