About The Position

The Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences, and the Arts (ASMSA) is seeking a Chemistry Instructor to teach students in the subject area. This role involves developing curricula for the residential academic program, which may be replicated and provided to schools across the state. The instructor will also support the school's philosophy of providing instructional support to schools throughout Arkansas. ASMSA is a specialized investment in the state's most talented and promising young minds, offering a unique residential experience with college-level coursework, dynamic faculty, advanced research opportunities, diverse arts experiences, and study abroad trips.

Requirements

  • Minimum of master’s degree in education or related field
  • Three years of teaching experience preferred
  • Teacher certification preferred
  • Doctorate degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • To teach students in the subject area.
  • To develop curricula for use in the residential academic program which may be replicated and/or provided to schools throughout the state.
  • To support the school’s philosophy of providing instructional support to schools throughout the state.

Benefits

  • Salary Information: $57-62,000 (Based on education)
