About The Position
We are seeking a passionate and engaging After School Instructor to teach our Chemistry program to students in grades K-5. This role involves delivering fun and educational chemistry lessons on Fridays from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM during the months of September and October. The instructor will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment and ensuring students have an exciting and informative experience with science.
Requirements
- Experience in teaching or instructing children, preferably in a science-related field.
- Knowledge of basic chemistry concepts suitable for K-5th grade.
- Ability to manage a classroom of young students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual for scheduled classes.
Nice To Haves
- Background in chemistry or a related science field.
- Experience with after-school programs or curriculum development.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Teach the Chemistry program to K-5th grade students.
