About The Position
We are seeking a passionate and engaging STEM - After School Instructor to lead classes for students in grades 6th-12th. This role involves teaching programs in Structural Engineering, Visual Arts, Drawing, Fashion, and Digital Art. The instructor will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction during after-school hours on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The program runs from August 25th to December 10th.
Requirements
- Experience in teaching or instructing students in grades 6th-12th.
- Proficiency in STEM subjects, specifically Structural Engineering, Visual Arts, Drawing, Fashion, and Digital Art.
- Ability to manage a classroom and engage students effectively.
- Availability on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
- Must be available from August 25th to December 10th.
Responsibilities
- Lead and instruct students in STEM programs including Structural Engineering, Visual Arts, Drawing, Fashion, and Digital Art.
- Manage classroom activities and ensure a positive and productive learning environment.
- Deliver engaging lessons during scheduled class times (3:00 PM - 4:00 PM and 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM).
- Oversee students in grades 6th-12th.
- Facilitate mini camps and field trips as assigned.
Benefits
