About The Position

Tri-County Technical College is seeking collaborative, energetic, and innovative Chemistry Adjuncts for the Arts and Science division. Reporting to the Director of Adjunct Faculty and Student Support, the successful candidates will teach courses using systematically planned and delivered instruction for the program; maintain records of student academic progress and attendance, evaluate level of achievement, and assign grades for the program. Teaching assignments may include both day and evening classes, and at various Tri-County Technical College community campuses within Anderson, Oconee, and Pickens counties. The Spring 2027 Semester begins on January 4, 2027. This role is part-time and does not include benefits. Successful candidates will be required to teach face-to-face instruction at one of our four community campuses.

Requirements

  • Candidates interested in teaching lab courses must possess at minimum a bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field of study.
  • Candidates interested in teaching lecture courses must possess at minimum a master's degree with 18 graduate hours in chemistry or a related field of study.
