About The Position

This role is responsible for defining new product QA requirements to ensure product quality and performance, transferring new products/technologies to production, and supervising pilot runs. The Chemist will use DOE and DFMEA to facilitate the transfer of new products into production and manage the product maintenance process independently. They will also attend technical presentations from raw material suppliers, obtain and interpret customer product specifications and test methods, and gain material approval through customer specifications testing. The role requires writing technical reports independently, leading IATF 16949 Audits for the R&D team, and understanding equipment manuals to use equipment to its capabilities.

Requirements

• College degree in general sciences
• Minimum of 2 years experiences in thermoplastics, thermosets in automotive OEM market
• Good oral communication and technical writing skill
• Good computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point or equivalent
• Experience in DOE, Design FMEA and other quality programs
