We are seeking a Chemist to join our team in North Canton.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering / Material science
- 3+ years in a technical role in a chemical manufacturing environment and/or QA/QC laboratory.
- Ability to work legally in the United States on a permanent unrestricted basis.
Nice To Haves
- Rubber compounding, rubber testing, or rubber processing experience
Responsibilities
- Work with sales managers and customers to identify customer needs and develop applicable formulations.
- Develop appropriate testing plans for work to support opportunities.
- Assist with troubleshooting production issues.
- Coordinate with operations to introduce new products and address quality issues with existing products.
- Optimize cost position during product development through formulation optimization.
- Provide support for chemical and lab safety.
